“Arts and culture bring our community together. I am thrilled that our government recognizes the importance of events like the Northern Arts Festival, which contributes to our local economy, while celebrating our local diverse talent. I am proud to support Sudbury Performance Group, as they continually showcase our community’s diversity and the incredible talent of Northern Ontario.”– Viviane Lapointe, Member of Parliament Sudbury
“We are proud to offer our festival each year for Sudbury audiences. The number of performers and the diversity of the performers is what makes our festival special. We engage local Francophone, Indigenous, and 2SLGBTQ+ artists, which is important to Sudbury Performance Group. Additionally, the training offered was important to artists across the province. Especially for those who are in more remote communities such as Massey, Cutler, Wahnapitae First Nation, Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation, Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation.” – Mark Mannisto, President, Sudbury Performance Group
