Planning to travel?  Looking to renew your passport? We are here to help!

We will be on site to help you with your passport application. Bring your completed application, or one of our staff can help you complete your application. Leave your application with us and we will send it to Passport Canada on your behalf.

 

What do you need to bring?

IDENTIFICATION – Original birth certificate, Canadian citizenship card (THIS APPLIES TO ADULT GENERAL AND CHILD APPLICATIONS ONLY). SIMPLIFIED RENEWAL APPLICATIONS require that you submit your current passport.

SECONDARY ID – Photocopy of BOTH SIDES of valid Driver’s License or photo health card—signed by your guarantor. The ID must be issued by the federal or provincial government. It must contain: name, date of birth, sex, photo, and signature. If applicable, you may also be required to provide Change of Name documentation – Example – marriage certificate, adoption order.

PAYMENT: Credit card, money order, or certified cheque. *no debit and cash will be accepted as payment for a passport. Certified cheques and money orders should be made out to the Receiver General for Canada.

REFERENCESNames, full mailing addresses, and phone numbers of two people NOT RELATED TO YOU who have known you for at least 2 years

GUARANTOR: A guarantor is a Canadian citizen, 18 years of age or older in possession of a valid Canadian passport who has known you for at least two (2) years. A family member or person residing at the same address as you may be your guarantor, provided he or she meets the above requirements. *We are unable to provide a guarantor.*

Please note: A guarantor is not required when completing a Simplified Renewal Application and will only need to be present if completing an Adult General or Child application at the clinic. A guarantor does not need to attend if applications are fully completed and ready for submission at the clinic.

PHOTOSYou will have to bring your own valid passport photos (2) done and date stamped by a professional. NO PHOTOGRAPHER ON SITE AT THE CLINIC.

Please note that Passport Canada is currently experiencing a high volume of requests. Please allow approximately 60-90 days for processing if submitting through our MP Passport Clinic.
